What is Reiki?
Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a gentle, hands-on energy healing practice that supports your body’s natural ability to relax, heal, and restore balance. It works with the energy in and around you—helping clear what no longer serves and reconnect you with your light.
What does a Reiki session feel like?
Most people describe it as deeply relaxing—like a warm, peaceful wave washing over them. You may feel sensations like tingling, warmth, or lightness. Others simply feel a sense of calm and clarity, both during and after the session
What should I wear to my session?
Wear comfortable clothing. You’ll remain fully clothed, lying on a massage table with a cozy blanket and optional eye covering. You’ll be invited to simply rest while I gently place my hands on or just above your body.
Is Reiki like massage?
No—Reiki is not massage. There’s no physical manipulation of muscles or deep tissue work. Reiki is a subtle energy therapy that works on emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual levels.
Can Reiki help with stress or anxiety?
Yes. Reiki is especially helpful for stress reduction. Many clients report feeling lighter, calmer, and more centered after just one session. Over time, it can support deeper healing and emotional clarity.
Do I have to believe in Reiki for it to work?
No belief is required—just an open mind and willingness to receive. Reiki works gently and naturally, whether or not you have any spiritual or energetic background.
How often should I come?
That depends on your goals. Some come once to experience deep rest. Others return regularly to support emotional healing, spiritual growth, or to maintain inner balance. We can talk about what feels right for you.
What if I get emotional during a session?
That’s completely normal and welcome. Sometimes when we feel safe and relaxed, emotions that have been held in the body start to release. You’re in a supported, judgment-free space.
Is Reiki safe for everyone?
Yes—Reiki is safe and non-invasive. It can be used alongside traditional medicine, therapy, or other healing modalities, and is safe for people of all ages.
